SEMA 2014: Restomod Air Breathes New Life Into Classic Rides

The joy of building a restomod is something many an automotive enthusiast can agree on. Restomod Air was at SEMA this year to showcase two great products for lovers of the vintage variety–the Air Touch, and Reactor controller–and we talked with general manager Mike Rejkowski to learn more about them. “The Air Touch is our iOS and Android app for working wirelessly with our A/C units,” said Rejkowski. “When customers run into trouble, we can give them a helping hand,” said Rejkowski. “Running Bluetooth, our tech guys can actually log into the system. They actually see if the servo motor is bound up, something’s not responding.” “Anything along those lines, and figure out a way to get the unit back up and running.” Installation-wise, Rejkowksi assured us that the process accommodates the regular, everyday DIYer. “All of our systems are designed for a guy in his garage to put in,” he said. “We put the customer first.
