THE HAYMAKER - S
Our Haymaker-S features separate dash, defrost and floor modes, all within our innovation in a case. Our multi-mount system makes the installation of this custom A/C system a breeze. No need for fabricating brackets or visible bolt heads. Simply use the template, mark your firewall, weld studs/drill & use the included stainless hex head bolts.
All our systems are engineered with large, separate A/C and heat coils – just like OEM systems. Some of our competitors market small, street rod type units that contain only one coil known as a common block coil. The overall size of the coil is compromised by circuiting heater tubes and A/C tubes into one coil, therefore creating less surface area to cool the air as it passes through the coil for less cooling capacity. Smaller is never better when it comes to coil and case size!
The Haymaker-S is even designed for easy upgrades. When we have new technology available, it is plug & play. You can even remove the blower motor, expansion valve & thermostat for servicing with the evaporator still in the vehicle.
X-ACT FIT CONTROLLER
For your 1968 Camaro, we offer our X-Act Fit A/C Controller. The 1968 Camaro X-Act Fit A/C Controller by Restomod Air is available for those who want to preserve a stock look with modern technology.
The 1968 Camaro X-Act Fit A/C Controller is fully electronic with smooth operations and no connecting arms that will bind or break. It also has backlighting so adjusting while driving at night is quick and easy.
This controller even installs in your dash with no modifications! It was designed to fit directly into the OEM location with zero modification. Just plug-n-play. This control uses three knobs: mode features (dash, floor, defrost), temperature settings (hot, cold, and everything in between), and speed.
