Build A Custom Kit

This is the heart of the system. Restomod Air has five Evaporator sizes to pick from. We have Full-Size units to Ultra-Compact units to fit any vehicle. It does not matter what the make or model of your vehicle, one of these five units will fit. What matters is how much space you have in the dash cavity.

You will need to remove your original heater since you will be replacing it with your new Restomod Air A/C System. After removing the heater, take a rough measurement of your dash. Using the measurements below, find a system that best fits based on your vehicle measurement. We have mock boxes available to test fit the system you choose before you purchase.

This is how you operate your system. We have several control styles to choose from: direct bolt in, individually mounted to no controls (Restomod Air App controlled via bluetooth), etc. Literally, hundreds of controller combination options to operate your Restomod Air unit. We are giving you the option to customize your kit and not doing a pre-fabbed kit. Restomod Air a/c units will only operate with Restomod Air a/c controllers.

Devices to direct airflow from the system. Are you wanting to adapt to your factory vent or are you wanting to customize your look? Restomod Air has a deep vent collection that comes from a mix of gritty industrial styling and sleek, flowing lines. Starting with hex head bolts, textures, and finishes, our designs are worked into dramatic, lush lines that create an over the top, dramatic style. Pick any style housing and any style ball with any style finish. With over 990 vent options you are sure to find your style.

Our defrost diffusers and adapters range from model specific to universal. Are you adapting to defrost ducts or replacing and doing new diffusers? You can find everything you need here. Our diffusers and adapters are made of high impact ABS plastic with a smooth finish these are not your cheap and easy to crack diffuser assemblies. These are strong Aftermarket A/C defrost diffusers and adapters designed for 2in. duct hose attachment.

Connects all your hoses from the interior and exterior of the a/c system. Normally mounted on the firewall these hand-built Hand Burnished finished bulkheads are an eye-catcher in any engine compartment. Our systems are intended to use one of our bulkheads. The hoses provided with the system are meant to take you from the unit to the bulkhead plate mounted on the firewall. A preferred choice with pro builders the Restomod Air bulkhead is to create a finished look without using rubber grommets on the firewall.

Lines to run fluid through the system. Restomod Air Universal hose kit includes barrier hoses for use with R134a refrigerant and everything needed to run R134a refrigerant through your a/c system. It comes with black fittings, black drier, black brackets, and a hi-low pressure switch kit. Restomod Air offer crimping your hose for free.

Mounts the compressor to your engine. Restomod Air has tons of engine bracket variations depending on your engine size and water pump location. An often-overlooked item during the a/c purchase but a very necessary component to get your system cooling.

Pumps refrigerant through the system. We use compact Sanden V- Belt or Serpentine compressors for a wide variety of applications, with a cast aluminum finish or polished available. All air conditioning compressors come fully filled with oil, and all have a full warranty.

Heat exchanger mounted in front of the radiator. Restomod Heat Killer A/C Condensers pull heat out of the interior of the car and is expelled here. Rule of thumb is to get a condenser closes to the size of your radiator to give the maximum amount of heat exchange as possible.

The easiest way to size the condenser is to take the finned area of the radiator (the open area of the radiator) and find the largest condenser that would fit.
