“I’m an aircraft mechanic by trade.” Jason and his dad at one time had a 10,000 sq foot building to work on aircraft, but it seemed like building HotRods was more in his blood.
“I was always working on trucks and cars and my guys would get all irritated at me because I’m working on trucks and cars and we have a hangar full of airplanes to work on.”
Knowing his passion for building Hot Rods his dad could see that his heart wasn’t into working on the airplanes, so they decided to sell that business and open up a custom Hot Rod shop.

When tough times hit in 2008, Jason, just like many other Americans pushed through the downslide of the economy. Jason went on to say that “I got a phone call from Aaron Kaufmann” and new opportunities opened up due to the T.V. show.
Nowadays after the T.V. show, he says “We’re cranking away, busy as crap. It’s insane. We’re booked out for a year right now and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Jason’s hard work and skill building custom vehicles were on display at the past 2021 Lone Star Throwdown.
