KC'S PAINT SHOP USES RESTOMOD AIR A/C
Gearhead and world-renowned custom automotive painter KC Mathieu’s hand-built monster, “Frankenstein” shows off the best components the industry offers. During the restoration of Frankenstein, KC decided to install Restomod Air to give his build the Ultimate in customization and performance.
He has said many times that the reason he uses Restomod Air is simply because, “they are the best in the a/c industry”. When you set out to build a top-level vehicle using anything else would be ridiculous. This F-100 is so clean KC took it to SEMA and the crowd went nuts.

When we’re in the shop picking A/C for our cars, we try to stay on the leading edge of everything and we go with Restomod because they are, in my opinion, the leading industry A/C units.

KC went with the top-of-the-line Haymaker Full-size system to keep the 1968 F-100 ice cold in the Texas heat. Yeah, he could’ve gone with the Vapir 3 or even the Vapir 2 models, but If you’ve never experienced Texas in summer, it’s a whole ‘nother level of hot. He was set to freeze during the Texas summer.
This Restomod Air system without a doubt produces the coldest temperatures out the vent from any manufacturer. Fact! Not only that, this Haymaker unit like all of Restomod Air’s units has separate coils for A/C and Heat. KC noted that he gets the perfect temperature out of his dash every time with each Restomod Air system he installs.
