Restomod Air now offers all-inclusive Membrane Kits for a wide range of classic vehicles.

All-inclusive membrane kits are available for the Bel Air, Camaro, Chevy Truck, Ford Truck,  Lincoln, and even the M998- Humvee. Each membrane kit includes a custom amount of 5mm Membrane for your build, two to four rolls of Membrane tape, and one application roller.

When you receive your custom kit, you will have everything you need to insulate, and sound deaden your ride. Our engineers worked with pro builders to design this kit from the ground up, guaranteeing 90% minimum coverage. Just clean, peel, and stick! Insulation couldn’t be easier. Here is the breakdown!

Designed for the floor cab, door panels, and back wall Membrane 5mm material gives you the protection you are looking for sound deadening and easy installation. The 2mm Butyl Layer is for vibration damping and is proven to quiet the noise and rattles your vehicle produces. Membrane can be applied anywhere to block out the outside noise. Membrane’s 3mm of closed-cell insulation foam rubber does a lot. When applied to your floor, doors, and back wall there is a significant decrease in temperatures.

We know that vehicles need to be insulated for air conditioning systems to operate efficiently, therefore we designed our own thermal firewall insulation material to handle the issue, simply because there is no product offered, until now. Restomod Air’s Membrane 8mm material is designed to be placed on the firewall and roof. This is where most of the heat enters your vehicle.

Membrane Tape is an aluminum foil tape that is in our one-of-a-kind Membrane pattern with an adhesive backing. It matches your freshly installed Membrane Thermal Insulator and Sound Dampening Material, designed to seal the seams of two pieces of our 5mm or 8mm thick Membrane Material. Membrane tape easily contours to irregularities on a panel and will help prevent any butyl from getting in unwanted places, while giving your overall installation a completed finish with no black seams. Membrane Tape improves Membrane and Membrane Max’s ability to block heat and noise.

Each roll of Membrane Tape consists of 2” x 42’ of material. 2 rolls per Membrane box normally gets the job done and being 2” wide you get the maximum amount of coverage needed to close any gaps in Membrane material and gives you the confidence that you will grab enough of each seam of Membrane.

The Membrane application Hand Roller allows for even pressure of Membrane Thermal Insulator and Sound Dampening Material, minimizes air bubbles, and achieves the best adhesion. Features black wooden grip handle with the Membrane logo, clear green solid rubber roller. This application roller allows the user to easily install Membrane Thermal Insulator and Sound Dampening Material and is designed to eliminate fatigue.
